Akaku: Maui Community Television is seeking a dynamic Director of Production & Education. Applicant should be able to demonstrate excellent production and organizational ability; direct, manage and lead our production and education team; supervise and schedule facility staff; oversee program content development;  supervise production workflow; manage production staff, contractors and interns. Works closely with CEO, Administration, Education, Programming, Marketing and Development Departments. New media skills, non-profit  and community organizing experience helpful. Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, digital camera equipment, web publishing software, studio and field production required. DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND DEVELOPMENT

Akaku: Maui Community Television is looking for a savvy, goal oriented Director of Marketing and Development. Responsible for public relations and press releases, grant writing, program development, fundraising, research, budgets, underwriting, business and community outreach, external affairs and strategic planning. Must work closely with senior management, government, education and community leaders. Excellent written, organizational and communications skills are a must. Grantwriting experience and experience working with media and/or non-profit management necessary. College degree required. Akakū: Maui Community Television (Akakū) empowers the community's voice through access to media. Akakū is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that airs content created by the community for the community. Community members on Maui, Moloka'i, and Lana'i are encouraged to submit programming to the station, create their own television shows and have their voices heard by fellow community members.
